Founder and President of Larchuk Law Offices, P.C., a solo practice law firm with offices in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
Practice areas of concentration are Internet law, general corporate practice, and litigation with an emphasis on medical negligence matters.
He is also the founder and CEO of Vestindien Development Group, a business corporation which is promoting a Resort Continuing Care Retirement Community and other business initiatives within the Caribbean basin.
Mr. Larchuk is a frequent speaker on the issue of health care reform and is the principal author of the Family and Business Health Care Security Act, pending in the Pennsylvania Senate and House.
Past Professional Affiliations:
2004 - 2005 Greystone Legal Associates, P.C., Pittsburgh, as a special contract attorney during Mr. Larchuk’s election campaign for Congress in the Pennsylvania 4th Congressional District. This was a third party campaign which focused exclusively on the issue of health care and it provided Mr. Larchuk with numerous speaking opportunities during which he advanced the public dialogue toward solving, rather than just debating, the health care crisis.
1997 - 2004 Malone, Larchuk & Middleman, P.C., Co-Founder and senior litigation partner in this general practice firm. Highlight of this association was the achievement of several $1 million plus verdicts and settlements plus the evolution of an Internet law practice.
1996 - 1997 Runnymeade Law & Consulting, P.C., a combination business consulting and law practice firm focusing upon health care businesses and advice to physicians regarding the efficient operation of their practices. During this time Mr. Larchuk also invented and developed the “MedConsent” computer aided system to assure informed consent for invasive procedures.
1980 - 1996 Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a large Pittsburgh law firm. Hired as a newly graduated associate attorney in 1980, promoted to partner/director in 1986, a year earlier than the usual pattern. Work here emphasized defense litigation in medical negligence matters and general accident and injury cases.
Education:
1980 J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Order of the Barristers and Co-Winner of the Moot Trial and Appellate Court Competitions, Director of the Legal Assistance Office which provided
pro bono services.
1977 Graduate studies in history at the University of Nevada at Reno, including intensive primary document research at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., regarding the exercise of the Presidential power of the pardon from George Washington through Jimmy Carter’s grant of amnesty to Viet Nam era draft resisters.
1976 B.A. from Rutgers College of Rutgers University, New Jersey with a major in History. Additional areas of study included accounting and performance arts.
